Welcome!

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year at Armada Elementary School!  I am honored to be serving another year as principal of our fabulous Armada Elementary School! Please review the documents enclosed in our beginning of school year packet and sign/return items requested. 

At Armada, we commit to provide a viable, high quality standards-based education that will ensure all students will perform at or beyond grade level by the end of each school year. Through this, and partnering with all stakeholders, we commit to develop college and career ready citizens. We practice a positive culture of open communication, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher via email, telephone, or schedule a meeting to meet with them and discuss your child’s education. 

Armada is committed to student achievement because we believe all students can and will learn. We support our amazing Moreno Valley Unified School District Strategic Plan and LCAP priorities. We have a Dual Language Immersion program K-5th grade. 

We continue our important mission of achieving 95% or better school-wide attendance and reduce absences and tardies. Please support us with this important priority by having your child at school every day and on time. We start school promptly at 8:00 am daily.

Parent communication and involvement is valued at Armada Elementary so we will continue to communicate in multiple formats: school electronic marquee, Peachjar paperless system, Blackboard Connect system of recorded phone calls, emails, and text messages. This school year we will be having monthly meetings "Coffee Chats with the Principal" to communicate school initiatives, obtain your valued feedback, and have the opportunity to discuss your concerns and ideas for an amazing school!  Please join our social media accounts of Facebook & Twitter and visit our school website for up-to-date information.

We welcome parent involvement and ask for your collaboration in our school committees of School Site Council (SSC), English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC), African American Parent Advisory Committee (AAPAC), and Parent Teacher Association (PTA).
