Elementary students invited to Superintendent’s Summer Learning Academy

Help your child stay on the road to learning this summer!

Moreno Valley USD in partnership with THINK Together will be offering Superintendent’s Summer Learning Academy this summer.

 

Students entering grades 1 through 5 will be provided a variety of fun academic enrichment in English and math, as well as art, STEM, and physical education through this program.  The summer courses will be offered Mondays through Thursdays* beginning June 24. Classes will continue until July 25 and run from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. *Classes will be held on Friday, June 28 instead of Thursday, July 4.

 

The program in partnership with THINK Together includes academic enrichment in English and Math, Art, STEM, youth development and physical education. Breakfast and lunch will also be included.

 

“Summer classes promote continued learning in a fun environment, which will better prepare students to return in the fall,” said Superintendent Dr. Martinrex Kedziora.

 

Applications are available at ALL elementary schools and will be accepted for just three days: May 21, 22 and 23 at the Welcome and Registration Center, 23301 Dracaea Avenue.

 

The program is open to any elementary student at MVUSD, with programs being held at Armada, Butterfield, Creekside, Edgemont, Hendrick Ranch, Hidden Springs, Honey Hollow, Ramona, Serrano,
and Sunnymead Elementary Schools.
