Updating Chromebooks & Clearing the History
Two measures that have been taken to troubleshoot inaccessibility to synchronous instruction is to clear the history of Chromebooks and update them to the newest version of Google Chrome's Operating System.
Clearing the history of a Chromebook works very similarly to clearing the pages of a cell phone. Having too many pages open on a cell phone affects the processing and functionality of a phone. Similarly, a Chromebook needs to be cleared of its history often. Otherwise, it starts affecting all programs and especially, entry into zoom.
Updating the Chromebook is crucial because it will start to cause issues for students. |
Connection Warning When Accessing District Resources Connection Not Secure
Many of you have recently encountered a warning message while attempting to log into one of our district services. For your safety and the protection of data, we use encryption technologies to ensure your access to your data is secure. As new standards are introduced, older standards are retired and often vendors will slowly begin dropping support for these older standards. An example of this you may have seen while accessing your district Outlook mail. We are working to upgrade our systems to ensure we are on the right track to properly implementing the latest in encryption standards while providing you the best experience possible. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to providing you a solution as soon as possible.
