Maria LaBrie | 3rd Grade – Dual Language Immersion Teacher
Armada Elementary School
Armada Elementary proudly nominates master teacher Maria LaBrie as Teacher of the
Year. Maria has taught for 19 years, grades 1st-5th, general education, ACS, and DLI. She
is one of the 3rd grade Dual Language Immersion teachers with consistently high District
and state test scores year after year. Maria has high expectations for all students and
aims to inspire them toward higher education and a viable career. She reminds students
that no one is perfect and mistakes help us learn and grow. Students love being in Maria
LaBrie’s class because of the positive, engaging, and caring environment.
